I owned the design of this brand creation from start to finish. As a member of the Marketing & Communications team, we established the campaign brief and goals for the campaign. These goals aimed to encourage body positivity and counteract societal messages for a “new year, new you”, and to further connect Recreation & Wellbeing’s programs as spaces where every individual belongs.
The Request
Create branding for the We Root For Every Body campaign including wordmark design, various print materials ( window clings, stickers, business cards, & flyers), digital content (television screens & desktop backgrounds), and a series of transferable design elements.
The Process
The wordmark, which was the leading design throughout the campaign, was designed to honor one’s unique qualities, individuality, and strength. The bold typeface and whimsical design elements were intentionally designed to visually demonstrate this message. For example, the bold typography within the wordmark was designed to demonstrates strength, resilience, and function. Additionally, the free-form design elements were designed to represent one’s imperfections and unique qualities.
