The Process
The 2022 Wisconsin Union Pride T-Shirts were designed to support the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month. My designs were chosen to be sold at various Wisconsin Union stores during the month of June. Inspiration for these designs were influenced by the artist Keith Haring. Haring was an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, made monumental headway advocating for the AIDS epidemic, and was recently inducted on the National LGBTQ Wall of Honor. While designing these T-shirts it was important to me to not only be representative of the LGBTQ+ community in a respectful manner, but I also strove to base my concepts on an extremely influential artist that has made a direct impact on the community.
Intramural Sports Champion T-Shirt
The Request
Design the University of Wisconsin-Madison Recreation & Wellbeing 2024 Intramural Sports Champion T-Shirt with a retro aesthetic while maintaining branding guidelines and using three colors maximum.

The Process
Through intensive research on retro sport apparel designs, I combined contemporary design techniques with a retro aesthetic. For this design, I emphasized typography and maintained Recreation & Wellbeing branding guidelines.

The Request
Design the University of Wisconsin-Madison Recreation & Wellbeing 2024 Summer Camp T-Shirt. Incorporate cartoon animals, maintain branding guidelines, and use one color.

I owned the design of this T-Shirt from start to finish.
The Process
Through intensive research on animal cartoon characters, I drew various animal cartoon characters on graph paper, giving each character its own personality to drive the look of the character. Once the initial aesthetic of an animal was designed, I combined the animals in one design.
